Instead of CEUs, What Do You Think About CGE*?

Oh Darn

I essentially agree that anyone in a practice or field needs to stay current with the research and practices of their profession.  But for those of us in the fields of healing and personal growth, I think that data is far less important than *Continuing Growth Experiences.  There is no such thing as remaining still and unchanging in this universe: think of a car sitting in a yard, year after year. Eventually it begins to fall apart, rust through, become covered in mold.  And so it goes with us in human form: if we are not evolving ourselves, being mindful to our own care, we too will mold over and fall apart.    Evolving ourselves is a gift to the world on so many levels.   That lovely cliché about a rising tide lifts all boats happens to be true.  As we increase our level of awareness, as we clear ourselves of anxieties, confusions, relationship issues, and on and on, we clear the ‘mind’ that connects us all with these things.  The field gets a little lighter.  Someone’s else’s journey gets a little easier…This Chinese proverb should also come as a relief:  in this chaotic, seemingly out-of-control world, there is something that we can do to bring order into the chaos.

Work on ourselves.

Traditional Trauma Resolution requires diligent self-care. There are other factors that make this practice different, but you’ll need to check back here for the link to the talk: What is Traditional Trauma Resolution?
