Experiencing These Doesn’t Make You Crazy

At least not at first

Have you

 ·        Seriously considered or attempted suicide?

·         Suddenly become very depressed?

·         Suddenly become extremely agitated?

·         Felt the need to protest?

·         Felt compelled to figure something out, to the exclusion of most other thought? But never ``````````come to a resolution?

·         Needed to give long explanations over and over that bring no clarity?

·         Started acting like the person you were accused of being?

We have been set up over many thousands of years to believe authorities over our own intuition, gut feelings, and beliefs.

In the subject of Metapsychology, (Gerbode), has identified the activity of ‘wrong indications’ as a method for invalidating and controlling another human being.  I have broken this concept down further to include incorrect interpretations, false beliefs and enforced values.  While all these things are ‘cousins’, different wording can make more sense for different people.

If you are experiencing or struggling with any of the opening list of negative behaviors, it is almost certain that you have bought into some untruth or are actively fighting absorbing what you have been told or had implied.

False beliefs, incorrect interpretations and enforced values or ‘truths’ create some of the most harmful impacts on a human being and anyone working in the mental/spiritual health field should be very familiar with the manifestations and how to transform them.  We manifest what we believe and when some idea is planted or enforced or adopted during high stress or while being ‘held captive’ in some manner, that idea, belief, truth or value can change the course of our lives in some unwelcomed ways. Somewhere within, when we buy into a falsehood, our choices are these: something breaks within us and we attempt to manifest the untruth that has been presented with force, by an authority or through less obvious means; we fight with all our might to resist manifesting the lie; or we give up and want to die, because we can see no other way to manifest our truth. One reason trauma holds such power over us has to do with the beliefs, values and ideas that are adopted as the result of the overwhelming event and the fact that those beliefs, values and ideas are stored in our unconscious mind.  We are not aware that they exist, except for the negative impact in our lives.  One reason for the miraculous outcomes my clients demonstrate after addressing major trauma has to do with the release of the negative ideas that come to light and are transformed once the energy of the trauma is released: personal truth can exist again.

However, there are many other ways that false beliefs, enforced values, wrong interpretations and skewed ideas are adopted.  We live in a society that provides plenty of skewed ideas and values as far as violence, the role and rights of women and minorities, what it means to be attractive, what it means to be a man, and what constitutes meaningful relationships, to name a few areas of confusion for many people.  We live in a patriarchal world where in the ‘expert’ or authority has the final word.  If the politician, doctor, spiritual intermediary, or the leader has said something is so, it must be so, even in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary, or as important, even if our intuitive or gut feeling tells us that something isn’t right.

I have also realized that families and groups can create wrong indications by the very way in which they view a member. This is especially true of any family or group member that challenges the status quo.  The family or group views that person as ‘the crazy one’, ‘the one with the problem’ and many other variations that can result in a person adopting all or many of the reactions described above..

Many ‘rebellious children’ are rebelling from some idea or belief that is being enforced by ‘authorities’ in their lives, usually without consideration to the child’s dreams and intentions.

Here is a funny thing about the truth:  when encountered, it feels right. Even an unhappy truth will resonate somewhere within one’s being as accurate.  The next step at some level will feel possible.

I will provide a protocol to begin unravelling these insidious ideas to those who sign up for my blog. (Blog Sign-Up Link) But in truth, if you are or have been suicidal, you need professional help now.  Don’t delay. You are worth it.
